Captured in a Frame
Getting up and about before the sun takes a bit of effort as we get older, but as soon as we are on the water in our little boat, everything melts away, and we just are present in the moment. This particular morning, the mists danced around us as we made our way to Wroxham. We moored up just beyond Wroxham railway bridge for our breakfast. Idyllic.
Monochrome the soft morning light
as dawn sees the night take flight.
The air is still, the waters are calm,
nature embraces; the quiet is a balm.
Gentle mists languidly drift, and in
the golden hour, they magically lift.
Colour saturates with the sun,
the day develops its daily hum.
A moment in time forever claimed
